Maria Henle's trademark "layering" format was originally developed in color etchings and is now used in oil paintings. "The images relate to each other in that they may be different perspectives of the same landscape, a detail superimposed on a more general view, or different elements of a landscape juxtaposed." Maria grew up on Saint Croix and studied art in Florence, Italy.
