Niarus Benjamin - Is a seventh and eighth grade art teacher at Arthur A. Richards Junior High School on St. Croix. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, where she majored in fashion design and painting. She is now concentrating on watercolor and oil. "My main focus, regardless of subject matter, is the play of light and shadow and how these factors affect form and what we see."
