Virginia Hobart - Artist and Illustrator Virginia Hobart was a latecomer to th beauties of Caribbean life. A longtime resident of Sonoma county in the heart of the wine growing region of California, her images began as a reflection of the agricultural bounties of her home environment. It was not until the early 90s that she first traveled to "anywhere tropical", and was overwhelmed with the beauty and spirit of island life. The boat races of Anguilla, the color and shapes of the local boats, and the sailors who race them have lately occupied Virginia's easel.
