Jean Merwin - Jean Merwin considers herself a Caribbean artist. Although born in Pennsylvania, she has lived on ST. Croix for over 40 years. Her work has been strongly influenced by historic architecture, local people and activities but, most of all by color. Merwin is a self-taught artist. Her work can be found from Providence to Paris.

Sadly, Jean Merwin passed away on Mother's Day - May 14, 2001.
