Mark Mulherrin, a former resident of St. Croix, now lives in Massachusetts, where he is artist-in-residence and instructor of visual art at the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge, a private psychiatric hospital. He says the job has had "a growing and profound impact" on his work, making him freer and more "painterly." Mark has a BFA from Pratt Institute in New York. Mark has an annual show of his newest work at the Walsh Metalworks Gallery on St. Croix.
