Sarah grew up on St. Croix and, although she now lives in Vail, Colorado, she still paints still lifes and landscapes of her island home. She works in oils and watercolors and says her work is influenced by the impressionist style-capturing the effect of light on color. She likes the spontaneity of working on location. Sarah has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
