Far from a staid museum, CMCArts operates actively as a year-round center of production and learning. We expect the enduring effect to be the emergence of creative thinkers, artists and leaders. Projected programming includes video workshops, film screenings, teen exhibitions, cultural classes, Kids Calypso Camp, writer’s and theatre workshops, juried shows for artists, a reading and resource reference room, and so much more. All in all, CMCArts offers something for everyone!

For local and international artists, CMCArts provides a forum for sharing ideas, while showcasing uniquely Caribbean fine art and crafts, preserving Caribbean culture, and recording history. Adult art classes, workshops and seminars are held throughout the year, and offer a venue for continued art education and creative interaction with others. Visiting artists from across the Caribbean bring their talents and heritage to our Artist in Residence program.
